Chasing Baja wins with Red Bull 🤝

I first set foot down here in Baja back in 2016 with Jesse Jones. A few years later, I got another crack at the Baja 1000 alongside Nasser in 2019, and that’s when Red Bull joined the journey. Fast forward to the 2025 Baja 500, and things have come full circle—with Red Bull officially on board again, this time as a key part of our Team Australia program.

It’s been a wild ride to get here. Paul Weel first jumped into a Trophy Truck back in 2019 while we were filming Cracked, a Red Bull project. That experience lit the fire, and soon after, he was racing the Finke Desert Race and cooking up this crazy idea of taking on the best off-road racers in the world in the SCORE International Championship.

Now, in 2025, that wild idea has become a reality. It hasn’t come easy, we lost a truck to fire in our very first Baja 1000 attempt, faced all sorts of mechanical dramas, and had more than a few heartbreaks along the way. But to stand here after winning the Baja 500 in 2024 and locking in multiple podiums is something truly special.

Having Red Bull as part of this journey makes it all the more meaningful. I can’t thank the team enough for their support. We’re committed to doing it proud and pushing for many more wins and podiums to come.
